This online retreat with Take Me Home is the result of a beautiful collaboration. It will be hosted by Frequência do Amor, presented by Paulinha Oliveira, David Hoffmeister, and Frances Xu, and translated live into Portuguese. It is with great joy and gratitude that we invite you to join us into this deep experience!

During the retreat, the documentary movie Take Me Home will be shown with extended setup and follow-up sessions. This documentary was directed by Frances Xu and captures the intimate healing process of a group of strangers that comes together for a month-long retreat at a modern-day monastery in Utah. This monastery has only two guidelines: no private thoughts and no people-pleasing. All who come are offered an opportunity to live by these guidelines and open up to authenticity and trust with each other. Take Me Home will showcase how to allow the Spirit to guide our awakening journey and our relationships. Expect to walk away with a wide-open heart and a deepened desire to trust and follow the Holy Spirit!

It is not necessary to have prior knowledge of the teachings of A Course in Miracles to participate. Everyone is very welcome!

All retreat sessions will be broadcasted via Zoom. These retreats are a very deep and intimate experience for everyone involved. You will experience the same connection and engagement as you would on a “physical” retreat, except now from the comfort of your own home. 

We encourage you to let your friends and family know that you are in an online retreat to limit the distractions of the world. Set your space for a reverent and loving experience, so that you are ready to be taken on a deep journey inward.

1. How will I be able to join the retreat? Do I need to be technically savvy?
No! It will be quite simple actually. Once you register, you will receive some basic instructions on how to join us online. It will be quite simple, but if you have any difficulty, we have a tech support person who can help you.

2. What kind of computer or equipment do I need?
You will need a computer/laptop that has a webcam and microphone (most computers come with those built-in) or a mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.). You will also need to have a good internet connection. For optimal audio quality, we recommend using a pair of headphones or earbuds.
